Your Smile Is the First Thing People Notice About You.
Knowing your smile looks its best can boost your self-esteem and self-confidence and improve that critical first impression. Unfortunately, as we age, teeth become yellow and stained. Whitening can restore your youthful smile. It is quick and easy without any long-term harmful effects, if done correctly.
Advanced Oral Dynamics Offers Teeth Whitening in Two Different Ways:
- ZOOM WhiteSpeed (the most advanced Zoom product available — not to be confused with previous versions of Zoom)
- Take-home tray whitening
Both offer safe, superior results that over-the-counter (OTC) whitening strips and drug store products cannot match.
Zoom Whitening — In-House (Light Activated)
In 45 minutes, this system is clinically proven to whiten teeth up to eight shades lighter! We find this to be our most popular choice among our patients because:
- It is fast, ONLY three to four 15-minute sessions are needed
- Low or no sensitivity with our pre-fluoride treatments and pre-cautionary care
- Long-lasting results through touch-up trays (included)
- Whitening-for-life program included in fee
How Does Zoom Whitening Work?
The active ingredient in Zoom whitening is hydrogen peroxide. This breaks down into stain fighting radicals that break the molecular bonds in stains and unwanted pigments in your teeth. The intense light helps these stain-fighting radicals whiten faster than any other whitening agent in the dental world.
Take-Home Tray Whitening
Some people prefer to whiten their teeth on their own time. For them, our take-home tray system provides excellent results that are superior to any over-the-counter (OTC) or drug-store products. Custom trays are fitted to your upper and lower teeth and whitening gel is placed into the tray to initiate the process. The trays (with gel) are left in place for one to two hours a day over a seven- to 10-day period. The concentration of the gel and the time worn may vary to achieve your desired results. This is the traditional method of whitening. However, it does require time and effort on your part, including periodic touch-ups to maintain the whitening level.
